What does Jesus mean in Revelation 3:3 when He states, "Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God?"

It has a way like the military people stand “watches” - they are “vigilant” - it’s a “practice” [you actually use or apply the Word of God], and it strengthens that which remains, which, Sardis had his name, but didn’t have any of the Word of God that came with his name anymore.
SO: “Watchful” has a way to have you “strengthen that which remains” the Word of God in you, and, it remains for eternity, so why are you picking up things that don’t, to “walk” after, to “walk in” and look unto those instead, when LIFE is in what he says.
Sardis: You already have his name; remember [have and be able to bring to one’s own mind what you had in the past] what they already received and heard. vs.
What is your review of The Office (U.S. TV series)?
And, Revelation 3:3 says:
3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Says in Matthew 4:4 “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” - Jesus Christ. The Word of God.
So, the first thing God asks those in Sardis that have his name is to remember what they already received and heard, which was the Word of God, just like he says to EVERYBODY, to the very ends of the earth to: “LOOK UNTO ME, AND BE YE SAVED ALL THE ENDS OF THE EARTH: FOR I AM GOD, THERE IS NONE ELSE.” - God. (Isaiah 45:22).
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
To “hold it fast” - this, “have and keep” the Word of God. Just as Jesus said. To “abide” in his word. That if you don’t you dry up; wither away; dead. Are cut away as dead branches. Gathered up and cast into the fire. Jesus said this plainly already in John 15:1–8
So, the Church is Sardis isn’t “doing” anything. Dead. Not abiding. Just has a name, but are not doing anything he says; and they are not looking for him coming. Like he told EVERYBODY to above in Matthew 24:36. They’re not looking for him anymore. Looking “how” they’re going to pay the mortgage this month, or how they're going to reduce the electric bill. Looking how they’re going to get Suzie into College next year, when there isn’t any money for it. The cares and pleasures of this life and snuck in, and they no longer abide in the Word of God.
Key Point:
2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
First thing I would do, before ANYTHING is: Take that New International Version (NIV) “I wonder if my sex change operation or I identify as a Lesbian with my feelings” Bible and throw it in the trash. Do that FIRST. Pile of pig vomit. It’s as awful as the Jehovah’s Witness Bible. Worse.
“use an idea” of by a security system with six cameras, all to catch the dog in the act. This “Look unto” the day, or hour the dog is on surveilance video, how you can champion it to the offending neighbor and all that work is dead; just some “thing” you relate to being a Christian, but it’s NONE of his work in it. Fill your whole life with those works. Let them overtake it.
The Word of God remains. “Heaven and earth shall pass away but my word shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only” - Jesus Christ. Matthew 24:35–36

3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
“1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
It’s INCOMPLETE without you look unto him. You do, it’s a work that he wants that’s COMPLETE. And? All “Complete” in the dictionary means is, you don’t have to add to, or take away anything from it. It’s Perfect. Because he makes up the lack. He’s God.
What is your craziest college sex story?
FIRST is:
2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
Instead of what you have, which is dead. Not looking unto him. Go back. Have and keep what God said. Abide in it. Do what he said vs. “dead works” doing anything BUT what he says or said.
How does a man look at you when he is in love?
6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”} - >
What you actually quote is from Revelation 3:2.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

< - {“…1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
THIRD is:
“Watchful” takes “practice” [actually apply or use of an idea, belief, or method, [the Word of God] as opposed to theories relating to it.]. So, instead of actually applying or use the Word of God, YOU:

Jesus Christ is the Word of God.
‘seeing’ and can’t see; hearing; listen unto someone else, anyone BUT God and his Word proceeds out of his mouth.
The Second is: Repent. Go back:
Asked you to look unto him. That’s what he said. Did you forget? Said: “LOOK UNTO ME, AND BE YE SAVED ALL THE ENDS OF THE EARTH: FOR I AM GOD, THERE IS NONE ELSE.” That’s COMPLETE. A “finished” work he wants done, because, HE. ASKED. FOR. IT. That’s what he wants.
You’ll be asleep to him and what he says.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
(Revelation 3:1–6), says:
KEY POINT:
Jesus Christ: Is the Word of God.
To ‘bring to one’s mind something or someone from the past which is the Word of God. To live by every word that proceeds out of his mouth. That’s the “works of God,” that, we took, today, live by every word proceeds out of his mouth, just like those in Sardis.
Heaven and earth shall pass away but God’s Word shall never pass away, and, he decreed Sardis was to live by every word proceeds out of his mouth, just like he decreed you live the same way.
Repent. (By the Word of God vs. your own word; like Sardis: dead)
Do you enjoy cheating on your spouse? If so, why?
So, the “Third” thing is:
So, the “Key Point” is Jesus Christ.
What does Jesus mean in Revelation 3:3 when He states, "Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God?"
“Who” he is. It’s “who” God made Lord.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
SECOND is:
Be “watchful” - “watching” [watching someone or something closely; alert and vigilant] - which if you’re “watchful” about your house, or the neighbor’s dog, how he somehow gets in and secretly poops in the lawn, so you watch and wait for the neighbor’s dog vs. set your mind on things above, which is the Word of God.
You have his name; remember what you already received and heard - The Word of God).
That’s what HE said.
8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
Look unto him.
5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
So, it’s God. What Word God is speaking out of his mouth, to the Church at Sardis
So RECAP:
Be “watchful.” “Strengthen that which remains.” (The Word of God remains for eternity)
4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
1. To “remember” this, [have or be able to bring to one's mind someone or something from the past] - So, the people in Sardis, claim his name, but God sees their works. They “live” dead. So, they are NOT living by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God, but just by dead works, work at things he never said for them to do.
